SECOND ANNUAL YGROUP CONCERT/LOCK-IN SATURDAY MARCH 21ST!!!!
All jr. and sr. high students are invited to our second annual concert/lock-in event Saturday March 21st-Sunday March 22nd. Our event will begin at the Big Daddy Weave concert in Washington Illinois, with a lock-in at the church to follow. Parents should drop off at the church on Saturday March 21st at 3:30 PM. Cost for this event is $20, however, students can earn $1 off for every non-perishable canned food item that they turn in at the time of payment (limit of 5 cans per ygrouper). The canned food items collected will benefit our April community service event.
Sign ups/payment for this event are due NO LATER than Sunday March 1st!!!! Sign up today at the welcome center. To turn in your payment for the event (including your canned food items) see Derek or Becky Clark. For questions call 224-381-8308 or 847-912-6155. See you there!!!!

sorry its been so long since we have updated-this fall was pretty chill which meant that there wasn't a lot to post. BUT we are excited for a new year and an awesome spring packed with ygroup events.

event #1:
CBC Ygroup World Vision Celebration!!!!
When: Sunday January 18th during the Sunday School Hour
What: One morning where we will set aside time to pray for our WV child, Aisa. We will also make items to send to her and take an offering collection towards the monthly support costs for the 2009 year. We also have a new letter from Aisa and her family to share!
So what is MY part in this?.......
Simply come Sunday morning at 9:30 ready to celebrate our WV child, Aisa. Also don’t forget your offering donation for the 2009 year. We will also ask the church congregation for a donation, so let us know ASAP if you can be available for 10 minutes following the Sunday morning service to stand at the welcome center and take general donations.
